It all started as a passion—just two friends who loved go-karting. That passion led us to host our first race, and now, we’re taking things to the next level by expanding to Bangalore.

We were actually the first to organize a go-karting race of this kind in the history of Mysuru. It began back in October 2024, when my partner and I pulled together a small race at Funway Mysuru with just four of our friends. It was an incredible experience—we enjoyed every second, and I still remember battling my partner all the way to the final lap, pulling off a double overtake on a lapped car!

We wanted more people in Mysuru to experience what we did, so we turned to Reddit to spread the word. By December 2024, we had a community of about 30 people and hosted another race. That one went really well and gave us the confidence to aim higher.

Next, we planned a race for Republic Day 2025. We weren’t sure how we’d get participants, but out of nowhere, our Instagram took off—from 30 followers to over 300 in just a week! That race saw around 50 participants and, though we made a few mistakes, we also learned a lot.

We then hosted a testing event to smooth out the kinks, and just last month, we pulled off our best race yet. Everything ran smoothly, and it felt like a grand success.

These past six months have been an absolute blast, and this is just a glimpse of how it all started. We’re excited for what’s next and hope to keep building from here!
